We are currently seeking a Tax Advisor to work directly with a Partner and our Tax Consulting team on engagements varying in size and complexity.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with multiple tax engagements including taxation advice, ATO audits, undertaking research, preparing letters of advice, pro-active tax planning, and restructuring
- Provide clear, detailed advice in an effective and efficient manner for a diverse client base
- Preparation of written taxation advice in the appropriate format
- Research and interpret of various tax laws
- Working with both internal and external stakeholders
Skills and qualifications
The successful candidate will require:
- A keen interest and passion in tax and problem solving.
- Tax consulting experience gained in a professional services or commercial environment.
- A high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- A problem solving, logical and factual manner.
- Have an open approach to learning new concepts and keeping constantly abreast of the legislative changes impacting the profession.
