DOF Subsea Australia undertakes a variety of subsea services and construction projects and our Health and Safety Team is crucial in supporting a diverse range of projects and clients.

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager - Asia Pacific, this position is Perth based on a Full-time basis.

It is a fairly autonomous role, requiring self-initiation and full role responsibility for most Insurance matter for our DOF Group in Asia Pacific.


About The Role;

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure our vast variety of Insurance Portfolio is managed in a pro-active and commercial manner, with the support provided to several internal stakeholders as well as being the liaison with our external Insurance Brokers and Corporate head of Insurance.

Managing the regional DOF Insurance Policy portfolio; including Premium Renewals; Claim Management and occasional Tendering Insurance Clause interpretation and support with various Certification and Information in support of Client requirements.

Holding this accountability, requires a very self-reliant and driven individual, who takes pride in paying attention to the detail and deadlines involved with this scope of work as well as understand the broader scope of Corporate Insurance.

This role requires utmost focus on pro-active planning, coordination and interpretation of various aspects of Insurance policies.

Working closely with the Legal team and alongside the HR Manager; this role offers interesting and also challenging aspects of providing relevant and detailed information and advice to several internal departments.

We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Professional, with relevant knowledge and experience to undertake this role for a period of 9-12 months.

It is important to present with at least 3-5 years’ relevant and current experience, ideally from the offshore Oamp;G Industry or similar.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a substantial level of experience for this support role and some, but not all requirements are:

  • 3-5 years of current experience in the Oamp;G Industry or similar, including operational offshore activities and preferably within Australia and the Asia Pacific Region,
  • Hold a tertiary education; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Legal Studies or Finance;
  • Present a desire to taking ownership of critical risk and insurance management;
  • Coordinate various Insurance compliance aspects of policies, including Insurance budget support
  • Effective interpersonal skills and be comfortable with working in an inclusive and collaborate professional environment.

Furthermore; some tasks and key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Annual Insurance renewal of all Personnel and Commercial policies, for various countries in APAC.
  • Manage all Insurance Claim matters
  • Facilitate and support the HSE(Q) training and ‘Incident Shares’;
  • Provide support and guidance to ensure fit for purpose insurance covers are in place and managed across all relevant departments and projects in accordance with standards and specifications;
  • Liaise and maintain good relationships with external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrate and promote DOF Values and Code of Business Conduct to ensure 'above all - we are safe';
