About the Role

We are seeking an experienced outcome focused Risk Audit Compliance Manager to support our business. This role is responsible for the overall management and delivery of Journey Beyond Groups Risk, Audit and Compliance Frameworks and their implementation.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Deliver and execute the risk and compliance objectives as outlined in the corporate Risk amp; Compliance frameworks.
  • Identify needs and risks to continuously develop the Group’s operating environment and systems and conduct regular reviews of the risk register with business units.
  • Define and develop policy and supporting documents required to meet the obligations of our operating environments, effectiveness and compliance requirements across the group.
  • Review, rate and manage incidents and implement corrective actions and procedural changes.
  • Provide required levels of supervision, monitoring and testing of controls to identify gaps and proactively close gaps and strengthen areas of weakness.
  • Provide regular Risk amp; Compliance management reporting to the Executive Team.
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed..
  • Develop, implement and maintain a suitable internal audit program for the Journey Beyond group.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Group wide external audit program and liaise with external auditors.

About You

Your success in this role will be achieved through:

  • Demonstrated minimum 3 plus years experience in internal audit, controls assurance and risk management is essential
  • You will exemplify our Personality and strive to contribute to a safe culture, will know their stuff and be a subject matter expert in risk, audit and compliance matters.
  • Your proactive customer/guest focused approach to building relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • High level of computer proficiency, analytical reporting skills and ability to solve problems to make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and literacy skills, be diligent coupled with a high attention to detail.
  • A collegiate and collaborative working style, who is an agent for change and continuous improvement, with proven problem-solving techniques
  • Being highly self-motivated with the ability to quickly build effective relationships
