Job Description
Catch is currently looking for a highly experienced Pricing Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Bentleigh East.
Reporting to the GM of Retail - In Stock, you will be responsible for leading the execution of customer profitability through pricing and value-capturing activities at both strategic and tactical levels.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with senior leaders across business to identify and develop pricing strategies that maximize price and margin opportunities.
- Elevate Catch’s existing data and analytics to automate and scale capabilities to create increased efficiencies and resolve some of the more advanced problems
- Forecast brand profitability based on pricing and marketing strategies, industry trends, and competition.
- Analyze Catch’s competitive environment to identify opportunities to drive revenue and profit increases.
- Build pricing optimization capabilities, price modelling with promotional forecasting.
- Provide price recommendations and guardrails for deals and promotions using robust excel models.
- Communicate effectively regarding profitable opportunities and key pricing insights.
- Always ensure integrity and accuracy in pricing.
- Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing actions effectiveness.
- Streamline the comp set with quarterly reviews.
- Implement and track KPI’s directly correlating to business goals or for any 3rd party vendors/systems.
- Create streamlined reports to cater for all levels within Retail team.
Requirements
- 5 years relevant work experience especially in the retail industry. Ecommerce retail pricing experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with pricing models, dynamic pricing software, processes, systems.
- Strong intellectual curiosity combined with a knack for recognizing correlations, trends, and statistical irregularities.
- Strong analytical and math skills to see trends and patterns.
- AI/algorithm experience preferred.
- Experience in analytics suites, such as Google Analytics, SSRS, Power BI.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
