Your New Gig

To support our rapid growth we’re looking for a new member of our Technology Systems specialist who will own the best practice management of all our IT services. The Systems Administrator will be a core member of the tech team and will support the global organisation with the systems and tools they need to succeed.


As our go to person in this space you will take full ownership by building out the policies and best practices required to ensure our environment is secure, available and always improving.


This role will be located in our NEW Melbourne Office in Cremorne

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Manage our end-user IT environment, by providing excellent service to our teams to support them in their work.
    • As the expert in all our standard end-user applications and tools, provide orientation and on-going education, trouble-shoot for the team, share best-practice tips and create cheat-sheets on how to use the tools most effectively and securely
    • Provide support with specific information management tasks such as identification and removal of obsolete documents and implementation of new services
    • Identify and implement improvements to our end-user IT environment in consultation with other key staff including equipment and software research and acquisition
  • Manage our IT environment to ensure it remains secure, resilient and in line with best practice.
    • IT risk management, including planning, implementing and monitoring security measures across the environment and managing response to security incidents
    • Providing IT support such as password resets, equipment issues, hardware and software set-up for new staff
    • Optimising our IT tools, services and processes including identification of the need for new IT services and ensuring secure, seamless deployment
    • Provisioning and managing domain names, hosting and security aspects of various websites
  • Purchase, install, configure and administer new hardware and software including organisation-wide policies and settings. Manage upgrades, including websites.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • Working with our Information Security Officer to ensure security in depth is maintained throughout the organisation.

You should apply if

  • You have 3-5 years relevant experience, with a high level technical competency
  • You have a demonstrated understanding of IT risk management in a security context
  • You have experience working with Google workplace and various SaaS based applications
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining access controls, including SSO
  • Experience in Apple and Windows environments and configuring MDM solutions
  • Security threat analysis and mitigation experience
  • You’re a technical person with the ability to communicate and engage non-technical users

What will put you on top of our shortlist

  • You’ll have prior experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience with Systems and Tools such as Google Workplace, Okta, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, Freshdesk, Wordpress, SSO (Single Sign On) amp; AWS
