This is a great opportunity for a year 12 graduate to kick start your career within our IT Service Centre. blueAPACHE is a growing Managed Services Provider delivering managed Network, Cloud, and Voice/UC services to mid-market clients throughout Australia. Our Service Centre provides end user support to approximately 200+ organisations, and operates from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday. The team supports a range of technologies including Networking, Voice, Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Citrix.

The Traineeship position of Level 1 Support Trainee will initially work on our User Access Management phone queue, to respond to user requests in relation to accessing system accounts. Duties include:

  • Answering customer phone calls within agreed SLAs
  • Following blueAPACHE process and procedures
  • Responding to user requests for password resets, user accounts creations, user account terminations and other general service requests
  • Updating support tickets
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Working within agreed Service Level Agreements

This position is a phone-based role. The aim is to work initially on the user access management queue, where the work is repeatable and familiar. Then depending on the individual’s level of competency, there will be an opportunity to move onto more complex technical tasks.

As part of the traineeship program, you will be enrolled in a Certificate III or IV in IT, and have time to undertake your studies during work time.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn customer service skills, has a passion for technology and enjoys interacting with people. Skills include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable dealing with customers over the phone.
  • Shows enthusiasm and energy.
  • Moderate-to-high typing speed
  • The ability to follow instructions and work to KPIs
  • A strong attention to detail
  • A passion for a career in Information Technology is also required!
  • Any previous experience working in customer service roles would be highly desirable.

Due to government funding, you must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
