Marley Spoon is bringing delightful, market fresh and easy cooking back to the people. Our chefs create inspiring and mouth-watering recipes every week. You select what you would like to cook and we deliver the recipes and all the ingredients you need. We use technology to re-invent the food supply chain while reducing unethical food waste and directly connecting consumers with quality producers. In order to achieve this, we are solving challenging problems in taste profiling, behaviour prediction and real-time logistics.

But in the end, it's simple: We started Marley Spoon because we love cooking and we love eating.

Marley Spoon is currently operating in the US, Europe and Australia. We are currently looking for casual Production Associates to help us grow Marley Spoon, at our new state of the art fulfilment centre located in Wetherill Park.

Your role

The Production Associates will perform activities as directed on the packaging line and is responsible for following all safety, GMP and Marley Spoon policies/procedures

You will

• Work on the assembly line packing our meal kit for our customers to enjoy their cooking experience
• Follow guidelines for the proper assembly of our meal kits
• Support and follow direction from all managers and supervisors about line performance
• Report issues to the Quality Assurance and/or Supervisor
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Work in a cold environment during the shift
• Occasionally required to prepare ingredients using tools such as food scales, measuring spoons and cups, etc., as needed

Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the occasional Saturday
• Able to work in a cold prep area (2 -5 degrees)
• Attention to detail
• Self-starter with initiative, and great communication skills
• Basic knowledge of the food industry
• Can exercise good judgement and think creatively
• Adapts well to changes that inevitably come along with an evolving business
• Enjoy working in a production/warehouse environment with first experiences in these areas
• A strong team player
