Job Description
Working as a Level 3 Citrix Engineer within our infrastructure Support Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and availability of the Citrix infrastructure for blueAPACHE managed customers. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage blueAPACHE customers' Citrix infrastructure - monitoring, reporting, and maintaining Citrix infrastructure as required.
- Provide 3rd level technical Citrix support and managing to resolution issues escalated from the Service Desk, Citrix technicians or direct from the customer.
- Conduct monthly or quarterly patching amp; health checks on Citrix and other Citrix related devices across our customer base.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase (KB) articles.
- Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
- Provide recommendations to blueAPACHE customers and sales staff for improvements in Citrix infrastructure configuration and deliverables.
- Attend customer meetings when required.
- Contribute to monthly reports and PIRs to customers where required.
- Install and configure Citrix technologies and complete minor projects as required.
Note you must be available to provide after hours on-call assistance and/or escalation on a rotating basis.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced Citrix Engineer, having supported a large Citrix farm within either a corporate or Managed Services environment. Skills and experience include:
- Implementing and managing Citrix farms in dedicated On-Premise environments based on
- Virtual Apps and Desktop,
- Desktop, XenApp/XenDesktop 1912 LTSR, 7.15LTSR /7.6/7.5/6.5
- Machine Creation Services (MCS),
- Provisioning Services (PVS).
- Microsoft RDS/Terminal Services
- Citrix ADC, Netscalers, Citrix Gateway
- Citrix Workspace Environment Management
- Citrix SD-WAN
- Profile Management Solutions e,g: FSlogix
