Job Description

We are currently seeking multiple compassionate and responsive individuals with relevant qualifications (or studying to attain relevant qualifications) to join the My Care Solution team as a casual Caregiver.

My Care Solution is a South Australian family owned and operated provider of premium in-home care services for older people.

Our casual Caregivers deliver a range of in-home care and support services to older people living in their surrounding area.

These services include:

  • Personal care, including showering, dressing and toileting
  • Assisted transport to medical and social appointments
  • Light housekeeping, including dusting, mopping and vacuuming
  • Meal preparation, including grocery shopping and cooking in the home
  • Errand assistance, including help with banking and running errands
  • Social support, including one-on-one outings
  • Overnight care (if willing and able to assist)
  • 24-hour rostered care (e.g. morning, afternoon and night/overnight visits)

Requirements

Successful applicants will be flexible in their approach to working hours, possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the personal attributes required to provide exceptional care to older people.

Requirements of the role include:

  • Relevant aged care qualifications, or currently studying for a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • National Police Certificate with nil disclosable history
  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence and an insured and roadworthy vehicle
  • Reliability and flexibility to work at least 3-4 days per week across a variety of shifts
  • Commitment to further undertake in-house training and professional development
  • A strong command of English and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Smart phone or tablet to access rosters and internal communication

Experience in the provision of in-home care and support to older people will be highly regarded.
