An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our Team. This role will be based at Gillman SA.

ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.

ACFS sites are strategically positioned with close proximity to all major ports. These locations ensure that our operations have dynamic and efficient access to wharf terminals.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A relevant trade qualification
• A HR, HC and Forklift license would be advantageous
• High Level of Technical ability and knowledge
• Be able to diagnose and rectify mechanical problems efficiently and cost effectively
• Experience in fleet work-running repairs
• Work well in a team environment
• Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
• Electrical experience would be advantageous
• Good communication skills

About the position:

• Work with other experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics in a friendly environment
• Growth opportunities within the business
• Workshop hours of operation are 5:00am to 7:00pm, flexibility to work within these hours.
• Full-time permanent
• $34.00 per hour + overtime and allowances, some weekends may be required
• Work with a safe and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our own workshops
