Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receipt of shipments and accurate dispensing of all landed costs.
  • Shipments to New Zealand and all collection of duty drawbacks as a result of exports.
  • Weekly cycle counts and yearly stock take process.
  • Stock/inventory maintenance and keeping integrity
  • Liaise with freight company and follow up tracking and goods and shipment.
  • Negotiate the rate with courier companies and regularly review.
  • Purchase related tasks.
  • NZ inventory planning, service and support NZ operation
  • Oversee the loan stock process and related reporting.
  • Quality Assurance audit - ISO and also internal auditing.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager.

Requirements

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience working in an office environment. Previous experience in a Logistics role would be highly regarded however not essential.


The position is ideally suited to an individual with:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be highly organized with a professional outlook on work
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A can-do attitude and flexible approach
  • Experience with J.D Edwards or Oracle software would be an advantage, however not essential
