We’re reshaping pet food an antiquated industry, and we're looking for a passionate?Content amp; Production assistant to join us in our mission. In this role, you will be right-hand to our creative content manager, and the driving force behind our creative execution.

Lyka is a well-funded and ambitious start-up with incredibly high growth potential. You will be one of the key members of the Lyka team at an early and exciting stage in the business.

This is a Full-Time position based in Sydney in our dog-friendly office. Please note you must have full Australian working rights to be considered.


You will be responsible for:

  • Working directly with the creative content manager to ideate, execute and implement creative content projects
  • Researching and identifying social content trends that are relevant for our brand
  • Working with the creative team to develop social content ideas
  • Supporting content creation for social posts
  • Providing administrative assistance and support to the creative content manager
  • Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders, including designers, photographers, videographers, managers
  • Maintaining a production calendar for the company
  • Preparing run sheets before shoots and managing the schedule on shoot days
  • Assisting in booking studios, sourcing props and managing talent both humans and dogs, including managing briefs
  • Logging invoices and expenses
  • Anticipating and communicating issues to the leadership team to reach solutions in a timely manner
  • Fostering a growth-oriented, positive and high-performance culture that motivates employees and is aligned to the company's mission

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in social media, content creation or production
  • Photography, videography and/or video editing skills are a plus
  • Highly organised, good time management, multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for pet wellness and natural feeding
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously, as required
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to develop and maintain productive amp; creative working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Comfortable with changing priorities and direction as the business requires and evolves. Our growth means there are constantly new things to work on every day. As such it’s likely that you’ll often be working across the board on new and exciting projects.
