Universal Biosensors (UBI) is a world leading ASX-listed Australian company (ASX:UBI) which develops, manufactures and sells biosensors for use in several industries around the world. Our biosensor technology has been used in more than 10 billion measurements for blood glucose monitoring and blood coagulation in diabetes and coagulation patients worldwide. Recently, we have pivoted our technology into the wine industry with our global launch of SENTIA in early 2021. In addition, we continue to develop new applications for our technology within human health, food and agriculture.

What you will do

UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our sales amp; marketing (Samp;M) team at the Corporate HQ in Rowville (Victoria) as the Digital Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Sales amp; Marketing Manager.

In this newly-created role, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing and managing the online presence for UBI and its products, including social media platforms as well as the delivery of marketing campaigns, promotions and initiatives.

This position works in unison with other members of the Samp;M team to implement and deliver a variety of important strategic initiatives across the entire business. The DMS works to significantly enhance the profile and quality of the various online assets and direct marketing initiatives.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive candidate who is tertiary-qualified in Marketing (or related) field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:

• Create and manage marketing campaigns for UBI (and its product brands) across all online and offline channels, including social media platforms, e.g. FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, websites, etc..
• Collaborate (at times, with agency partners) to create innovative content for UBI (and its products), including social media posts, images, videos, email content and eDMs
• Conduct targeted social media campaigns using tools for geo-tagging, demographic and interests
• Measure the success of campaigns with performance reports, including data from Google Analytics and Salesforce.
• Recommend new initiatives and ideas to drive traffic to the Company's digital platforms.
• Build and optimize digital program templates and asset templates (e.g. emails, landing pages, form and reports).
• Contribute towards 'culture-shaping' by marketing UBI as 'the employer'.

You are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively bringing knowledge and skills such as:-

• Proven track record in a digital marketing role
• Thorough working knowledge in creating workflow/campaign automation using Salesforce, Adobe or similar software.
• Demonstrated experience with numerous marketing tools including Adobe creative Suite, Google Ads and analytics, WordPress, marketing automation, CRM integration, brand management and more.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO principles, i.e. able to supply link-building tactics.
• Basic HTML experience, web-hosting, web analytics and web publishing highly regarded.
• Experience supporting Salesforce a bonus!
