About the role

We are seeking a Customer Technical Support Manager to join our Service- Support, Services Delivery and Planning Team. Reporting to the General Manager, leading a diverse team of support specialists, you will be responsible for covering all aspects of customer Technical support for our direct and dealer operations.

Requirements

In consultation with key stakeholders, your primary accountabilities are to:

  • Ensuring customer SLA’s are met for software, hardware and remote technology support
  • Developing and maintaining a robust customer support framework
  • Work with Konica Minolta level 1 team to provide industry best first level triage
  • Liaising with global stakeholders to ensure a consistent and innovative approach to customer support
  • Initiating and implementing strategies and programs to improve product performance and reliability
  • Providing support to KM Australia for new product launch activities, tender opportunities etc.
  • Effectively manage team projects and deliver within deadlines
  • Effectively manage and develop training plans for staff within their specialisations
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for staff to progress within their roles and future career direction
  • Coordinate and manage all relevant tasks with stakeholders, including support team staff, account managers, customers and other teams involved with support operations
  • Creating, interpreting and distributing technical information via various portals

Ideal Candidate

To be qualified for this position, ideally your background and skills will comprise of the following:

  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving experience and relevant experience in supporting software, hardware and remote systems
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations to varied audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
