It’s not very often an opportunity like this comes along! We are looking for a Part-timeInternal Auditor to join our corporate finance team in North Sydney. In this permanent part-time role, depending on who the chosen candidate is, you will find yourself working anywhere from 20-25 hours a week. This all depends on who we find as the best match for the role.
In this role you will support the finance team to deliver internal audit activity across GWA’s operations including supporting the business in areas of investigation, risk management, process design/ redesign and business assurance. You will assist in improving the focus on risk management and to improve operational performance through the development of a sustainable internal control environment. You will also assist to provide effective assurance to management and the Board and add value to the business through independent insight and constructive challenge, control and process design expertise.
This is a great role for an Auditor who is looking for their first step out of chartered into an ASX listed business. This is not your average ‘box ticking’ internal audit role, so if this interests you, then we want to hear from you!
You will have the normal requirements of an Internal Auditor, like a Bachelor’s degree and CA/CPA qualifications, and if you can tick the box on the details below, then we want to hear from you!
- Around 4+ years’ experience in internal / external audit
- Have a knack for developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders to become a trusted partner, not just that Auditor that asks all the questions
- Enjoy getting into the detail of business processes and systems to ensure you really understand the business and how we operate
- Be known as someone pragmatic and considered, and not just a tick the box person
- Would enjoy working on the 24th floor of a brand new building with a stunning harbour view!
