Job Description
Chill Vic, (in Dandenong) is looking for the next Senior Transport Planner amp; Allocator. (aka "master of operational efficiency" and a custodian of "delivering the moments that matter". You'll be part of a 2 person team transport team)

- Why does this role exist? The main purpose of this role is running the day to day operations of the transport area to make all the pieces fit together, whether it’s coordinating delivery schedules to an ever-growing client network, managing the rostering and training of team members. Can you coordinate a fleet of 20-30 vehicles on the road at the same time, safely, without breaking a sweat?
- Prior logistics experience is a must to be successful in this role, but more than that, we’re looking for results-driven leaders with strong organisational skills and the ability to delegate effectively.

- Reporting: To the State Ops Manager, this role will see you support and facilitate the supply chain operations of Chill by coordinating personnel (drivers and vehicles) and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods to their final destination.
Requirements
This is an exciting role that will see you use your ability to remain calm under pressure in order to accurately and efficiently provide service information and resolve any emerging problems that Chill drivers or the customer service team might face.

About You:
To be considered for this role you will need experience in either the Supply Chain Management, Transport or Logistics industries OR significant administrative experience and a desire to move into the transport industry. The successful candidate will be a quick learner who is comfortable with new systems and highly confident when it comes to the Google suite of products and Transport Management applications.
