The mission
To deliver improvements in the quality, robustness, efficiency, and ease of use of internal IT systems and to coordinate integration projects with external customers. Our leaders are all hands on and detail oriented with healthy can do attitudes. In addition you will achieve this mission by effectively managing our external IT vendors, and leading our internal service desk team and solutions team.
The role
Working across the business and empowered by the leadership team, you will define and simplify existing IT and solutions operations and improve overall usability and stability of internal IT processes across the FMH Group and its subsidiaries. The role sits in our Moorabbin office at EFM..
The Service Desk and Solutions team reports into this position. In addition the Corporate Systems Manager manages external IT vendor relationships.
Service Desk team: lead the service desk team and help them to improve their practices and processes as they support our internal and external customers as they use our technology platform.
Solutions Team: work directly with external customers to help discover their integration needs and to then lead the solutions team as they configure EFM, BagTrans, and other subsidiaries systems to work with these external systems. Note: this is not a software engineering team or role. Liaison and escalation to our sister companies - Flip - engineering team is also a key part of this role.
Vendor Management: work with and manage our IT Vendor relationships to ensure robust, efficient and easy to use solutions are delivered to internal customers. Examples of the vendors involved include an external IT provider (O365, desktop/laptop provisioning networking etc), and Salesforce.
