About the role
We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office Team! You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of small to medium size projects are completed, following the standards of our PMO methodology within contractual requirements and budget.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Manage all allocated projects end-to-end, remaining accountable for successful delivery until handover to business as usual
- Produce project documentation, such as Project Management Plans, SOWs, Project Status Reports, Risk Registers and Issue Logs
- Proactively identify, manage and mitigate anticipated problems within projects in relation to resources planning, budget, delivery and escalate to management as applicable
- Identify and manage project planning activities, working proactively with key stakeholders such as team members, customers and management teams
- Guide and govern the delivery progress of the Professional Services project delivery team, to ensure successful delivery of IIM solutions projects
- Manage and mitigate for scope creep, introducing change controls as required
- Review technical documentation such as Functional Design Documents, Solution Architecture Documents and Test Plans
- Identify critical tasks and task dependencies to ensure the project plan can be carried out in the most efficient and effective way
Who are we looking for?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred, experience in Project Management methodology such as Prince2
- Demonstrated experience implementing business solutions such as document /records management, workflow or AP solutions preferred
- Demonstrable history of successful relationship building; externally with customers amp; 3rd party vendors as well as internally with other work teams.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects across multiple locations
- Sound negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
- Australian citizen, ability to gain AGSVA clearance
