HRTE Departments Operations Coordinator

Place Estate Agents are seeking to appoint an Operations Coordinator as part of the extended HR, Training and Events team within our corporate HQ (in our recently opened office on James Street). This position plays an integral role in the continuous betterment of the department through project management, initiative creation and hands on event execution.

Our perfect candidate will be a previous event coordinator that is looking to extend their project management skills and utilise their creativity towards initiatives for the development of the department. Working alongside the department head, you will see success in freeing up her time and keeping the department focussed on long term projects and initiatives rather than always living in the ‘every day’.

This position is a permanent opportunity and is available either as full time (40 hours) or part time (32 hours).

You will play a diverse role within the team however your five key focuses will be:

  • Events Co-Pilot - You will bring your previous experience in event coordination to be side by side on the field with our Training amp; Events coordinator on game days. Place Training amp; Events are key to what we do and how we operate in the marketplace. You will see some incredible experiences come to life and gain a new level of job satisfaction.
  • Drive Team Engagement and Projects - Supporting the team in busy periods, whilst leading the department projects and being hands-on on event game days. You will ensure the team moves forward and continue to push the boundaries.
  • Be the analytics master - Through running reports for billing, budgets, data collation and recruitment amp; retention metrics you will be aiding Place HR, Training amp; events to move forward and exceed our clients’ expectations.
  • Onboarding partner Support our new Place businesses by arranging department onboarding sessions and project managing any set up requirements across the HR, Training and Events departments.
  • Support the HOD Implement the above in order to free up the time of the department head and be available to support ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of event coordination experience within a medium to large organisation;
  • A keen eye for detail and graphic design / content creation experience;
  • Confidence in creative writing and documentation preparation (when given subject matter);
  • Proven experience assessing processes and creating and rolling out improvements;
  • An account management, customer service driven mindset to offer the best outcomes and experiences for our clients; and
  • A team focused attitude.
