Forklift Operators (Counter Balance)

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced Forklift Operators to join our Team. These permanent role will be based at West Melbourne.

ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.

ACFS sites are strategically positioned with close proximity to all major ports. These locations ensure that our operations have dynamic and efficient access to wharf terminals. We have dedicated sites in development for Western Sydney and Melbourne and a committed Go West strategy that will allow us to expand our operations. These sites will provide additional service benefits for our clientele across the geographic metropolitan areas.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Tautliners and body trucks
• Loading and Unloading Import / Export Containers
• Manual Lifting up to 15kg’s
• Strong Communication
• Can perform under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Willing to upskill (learn new roles within the business)
• Able to work in a Team Environment

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Experience in warehousing is preferable but not essential
• Holds a current licence and has a reliable vehicle.
• Must have Forklift licence
• FAK experienced preferable
• Preferred if had experience of unpacking containers either manually of with fork.
• Experienced in the use of RF equipment for loading, receiving and inventory.
• Must be prepared and able to manually unpack containers in the ACFS expected time frame.
• Experience Counter balance forklift drivers
