Associate - Corporate/Commercial

Job Description
Collaborate with our friendly team of lawyers and the wider BlueRock divisions, including our referrers and clients!
You will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, 3-4 years PAE and an interest in general commercial and corporate transactional law, particularly Mergers amp; Acquisitions and start-ups.
To be successful in this position, you will have the ability to draft clear and concise documents and contracts, be enthusiastic, organised and proactive, with excellent relationship-building and communication skills, strong attention to detail and a commercial approach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Play a leading role in the newly established start-ups industry group to develop strategic growth for BlueRock and provide legal expertise
- Manage matters from end to end including supervision of juniors and recognise when there are potential legal issues outside of their area of expertise and where necessary, working closely with other lawyers in your team with appropriate expertise
- Draw up contracts and other legal documents
- Conducting complex and sensitive negotiations on behalf of clients

Requirements
We want to hear from people who have:
- 3-4 years’ experience with experience in Mamp;A, start-up industry and corporate advisory
- Strong drafting skills
- The ability to develop legally and commercially sound solutions through critical evaluation of legal issues and application of lateral thinking and imagination
- Excellent time management skills and, ability to meet deadlines/KPIs
