The Position

We are seeking a team leader to supervise Melba’s Workforce Hub team to successfully fulfill the shift filling requirements of our support services. You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing implementation of and adherence to internal business rules with the team and maintaining strong relationships with operational teams to ensure the day to day supports are provided.

You will be required to:

  • Support your team to fulfill the day-to-day shift filling requirements of people supported by Melba
  • Role model positive work practices whilst adhering to the most appropriate process, workflow and business rules
  • Build strong relationships with your team and support workers to ensure they remain engaged
  • Effectively allocate staff to meet ad-hoc staffing requirements and ensure the accurate entry of shifts, leave and mileage into Melba’s CRM’s and rostering tools
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of Melba’s part time and casual staffing pools, locations, availability, and capabilities

Our Ideal Candidate:

You are a people person who loves leading a team, have excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills with experience using databases, sending emails, data entry, scanning and uploading of files. You must be highly flexible, resilient and a quick learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills and pride yourself on providing exceptional service and support to stakeholders and staff. Previous exposure to the disability or community sector will be valued.

You will also bring with you

  • Experience using CRM’s and rostering systems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Strong Microsoft offices skills including excel
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and manage change within the team and foster a strong team culture
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • High level stakeholder management skills with the ability to build successful relationships
  • High level organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work autonomously
  • A lateral thinking mindset with well developed conceptual and analytical skills

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
