Join an established, well run and efficient Finance Team in this leading Australian owned manufacturing organisation providing end to end solutions and services to the retail sector. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of daily and monthly management / KPI reports
- Understanding Pamp;L drivers and detailed variance analysis
- Preparation and processing of all journal entries
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, including bank account recons
- Drive the month-end closing process to meet reporting deadlines
- Preparation of forecasts and annual budgets
- Calculating, preparing and lodging of returns for GST, FBT, Workers Comp, Payroll Tax, etc
- Processing and authorising payments
- Preparation of rebates and commission reports
- Various accounting projects as directed, including identifying and executing process improvements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills amp; attributes:

- Strong work ethic
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role - Finance and Management Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills including graphs, pivot tables, lookup formulae, etc
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication amp; people skills
- Be a highly motivated self-starter
