About the role
Fresh Equities is looking for an adaptive and energetic individual to join our Corporate team.
Our Corporate team supports ASX listed companies by arranging equity financing and providing advisory services. We bring together data, proprietary technology and experience to ensure that the companies we support are effective market participants. Our team is the "tip of the spear" for the business, tasked with finding new ways to add value to the capital markets process and new opportunities for our clients to invest in.
We are a fast-moving team in a fast-moving industry. Success in this role will mean being willing and able to learn quickly and adapt to change.
In this role, you will:
- Find new ways to add value to the capital markets process and new opportunities for our clients to invest in.
- Be responsible for planning, designing and executing these new opportunities.
- Apply customer-first, product-based solutions to traditional processes.
- Establish relationships with key contacts at ASX Listed companies and maintain existing and new relationships.
- Support our corporate clients by preparing their investor presentation materials, statements to the market and provide general market insights.
- Help with general ad-hoc administrative capital markets tasks.
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Able to work full-time in our Melbourne CBD office.
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a sales/business development role. Ideally in a fast-growing Fintech or financial services firm with client facing responsibilities.
- A desire to work in a genuine fast paced start-up environment. We are not a traditional financial services firm.
- An entrepreneurial spirit that allows you to develop creative solutions to problems and execute on them.
- An understanding of the listed equities market.
- A genuine hunger to learn and develop / learning agility.
- Very strong communications skills (verbal and written).
