You’re someone with a depth of understanding of human behaviour. You’ll know what to look for when identifying people that might be looking for their next career move, or open to opportunity. You know how to communicate the uniqueness of a company's culture that ‘speaks into the listening’ of candidates. You can also look beyond a person's resume and exterior to recognise their potential. And whilst you’re experienced enough to know what makes a positive candidate experience, you’re always looking at ways to adapt and improve and open to new ideas on how to delight.

You’ll enjoy owning and optimising the full-cycle recruitment process; spending time creating connections for immediate or future roles; selecting applications; interviewing and evaluating candidates; and using your expertise to guide others as well as expanding your own skills, knowledge and networks. You also like to get creative and innovate!

Ultimately, you will help us build a 'talked about' employer brand and value adding candidate experience.


as our Internal Recruiter we expect you to:
  • Use your experience of candidate sourcing to identify and connect with potential No Mossers, inviting them into the recruitment process
  • Go beyond Linkedin and job ads and use your imagination and creativity to find and connect with candidates
  • Expand our existing network, expand your own network, and develop new networks to share the No Moss story and employer brand
  • In collaboration with directors and our marketing team, build a stand-out employer brand that authentically represents the No Moss culture and employee benefits
  • Manage the complete recruitment function from ad posting and initial interaction to handover to Operations for contract signing and onboarding, using our candidate management platform and other tools.
  • Work to delight candidates at every interaction through the recruitment process and make it a valuable experience for them
  • Align with practice priorities and work to meet their hiring needs in the required time frames
  • Be comfortable working autonomously and self-aware enough to know when to seek advice
  • Seek to optimise current use of Workable and manage integrations with various software tools, including Google, Zapier, SEEK, LinkedIn, and Zoom
  • Report to Directors, Operations and practice teams regularly
  • Lead recruitment retrospectives for continuous improvement
  • Use data to track, measure and support decision making

Requirements

  • You’re an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • You reside in either Melbourne or Sydney
  • You have 3+ years experience in a talent acquisition, recruitment role or similar
  • You have experience working in the tech sector with an understanding of jargon and terminology
  • You’re happy with both ends of the recruitment process - finding candidates and managing the process
  • You have experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool
  • You’re a clear and concise communicator with a compassionate attitude
