About the Role
As General Manager - Solutions you are responsible for leading the training, content, processes, practices and tools, and for the developing PSG portfolio of products and services. The role will drive the adoption of this portfolio across the sales team, working closely in all markets as a champion to develop the sales capabilities. To achieve this, the role will work collaboratively across all sales regions, group marketing, key vendors and partners and other key stakeholders to increase sales results and productivity of PSG AU.
What you’ll do
As General Manager - Solutions you are responsible for (but not limited to):
- Assist with the development of business plans, assess market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share
- Lead efforts to develop and improve efficient and effective integrated processes across PSG Services. Implement common management processes and services to leverage Datacom resources
- Establish pricing strategies and develop marketing tools for successful product introductions
- Communicate customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing products or product lines
- Lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments.
What you’ll bring
This is an exciting, senior leadership role and as such we are looking for someone with at least 10 years of procurement management experience. You will be passionate about leading a large, diverse team to success, have strong financial management skills and business acumen. You’ll be able to comfortably navigate complex issues of diverse scope and possess strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
You will also bring knowledge and experience in product procurement and will be capable with the following tools: IT Quoter, GreatPlains, NetSuite, SSRS reporting services, iSell eCommerce and PowerBI.
