About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Software Developer role to join our team. This Graduate Software Developer role will be performing hands-on tasks for the software developments within the national Professional Service Delivery Team. The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or depending on your home state!
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
In consultation with key stakeholders, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Best practices software development in various modern languages;
- Developing code, run test and provide support to the delivery team;
- Analyse client requirements and identify and implement solutions;
- Design and implementation of COTTs best in class application BPA applications;
- Providing assistant to ah-hoc software development projects;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with other functions and external third-party vendors/partners to assist with the delivery of solutions as required to meet customer needs;
- Providing support to the Solutions Delivery team, as appropriate.
Knowledge, Experience amp; Requirements
- Bachler degree in ICT or Computer Science (Equivalent);
- Ability to program or familiarity with:
- JavaScript;
- .NET;
- HTML;
- JavaScript;
- Visual Code;
- SQL Server;
- PowerShell;
- HTML
- Understanding of Microsoft Technologies within the enterprise space. (Windows Server, Exchange, MSSQL, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to recognise priorities and respond with high level of urgency;
- A quick learner with outstanding presentation and communication skills;
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting skills,
- Back-end coding experience or software engineers, especially DevOps or Automation or Scripting; (highly regarded);
- Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure (direct experience highly regarded);
- Demonstrable experience in coding RESTful APIs;
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies;
- Fundamental knowledge of secure coding processes, application security and security protocols.
