Our Data and Analytics squad is growing!! We have a rare opportunity for a TM1 Systems Analyst to join our team, with a focus on managing all the TM1 Planning Analytics along with all its phases of the SDLC to deliver suite of reporting applications.
What does a normal day for a TM1 Systems Analyst entail?
Well Catch doesn't do normal, we do awesome every day for a start, but in this role a normal day includes:
- Ongoing contribution to technical planning, entailing all requirement gathering phases eg. Design, code, test, troubleshoot and document engineering TM1 applications
- Design and develop new planning models for reporting, budgeting/forecasting based on business requirements to an agreed priority
- Partner with peer in the relevant functional domain e.g. buying, planning, finance and ensure the design and the modelling is consistent, and reporting template meets the quality standard
- Apply TM1 best practices to produce quality applications on the TM1 platform
- Build insightful reports and run analysis to provide recommendations for enhancements for planning and buying
- Collaborate across cross functional teams to complete projects on time and under established budgets
- Work closely with data engineers in the team to ensure the ETL and data pipeline for TM1modelling is optimised and efficient
Requirements
We are looking for a TM1 System Analyst with strong experience in:
- Minimum 3 years of experience of solid TM1 development experience. This includes having experience in scoping, development, delivery of planning solution and TM1 modelling
- Experience in creating dynamic (PAX) excel based TM1 reporting templates
- Understanding and experience of ETL and data structures, data modelling e.g. data warehousing, and data marts
- Experience in setting the TM1 integration to database data sources.
- Experience in upgrading Planning Analytics
- Experience in the retail sector will be a bonus
- Experience with optimizing existing TM1 models
- Proven experience in translating business requirements into design and manage end to end project implementations
- High level of proficiency with SQL with the ability to write very complex SQL
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- High level of proficiency with VBA/Macros and automation of TM1 reports
- Expert knowledge of TM1 design and build including TI Processes, Chore scheduling, Security, Rules and Feeders.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills to translate analytical solution outcomes in the context of business impacts and benefits to a non-technical audience
