Corin is developing a novel antimicrobial surface technology to fight infections and our Ramp;D Department are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Process Engineer on a full-time 12 month fixed-term contract. This position will be based out of our Sydney office.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the Senior Design Engineer within the Ramp;D department, this unique opportunity will see you combine process engineering academic qualifications with industrial and manufacturing experience. You will work alongside experienced engineers within the Engineering Teams as well as potentially interact with Researchers from academic institutions.
You will be required to assist in process engineering activities to support the Antimicrobial Nanosurface for Orthopaedic Implants Project, aimed at the set-up and operation of a laboratory space with a reactor, passivation process amp; cleaning process and a furnace which create unique antimicrobial surface features on orthopaedic implants. What you’ll need to be successful
You will have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field combined with 2+ years experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment as a process engineer. You will pride yourself on your ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional team environment. A positive attitude to change and a passion for innovation is essential.
