To continuously deliver on our promise as above, we are eagerly searching for a Senior Product Designer to join our talented and passionate Melbourne-based team. Working collaboratively within the Product Team and other internal stakeholders, you will produce brilliant digital interactions and interfaces to help deliver delightful experiences to our customers.

Requirements

We work with the best people who are empowered and encouraged to add their own flavour to what we deliver to our customers. As a Senior Product Designer, the following will be your realm but you will be backed by the whole team along the way.

• Your day to day will be producing interaction (UX) designs, prototypes and user flows from concept to delivery that ultimately enhances the user experience
• You will be in charge of maintaining and nurturing our pattern library and design language system
• You are able to run with wild ideas and vouch for human-centered design and guide your colleagues and vendors
• Working collaboratively with product managers, engineers and other designers you will assess opportunities, evaluate user requirements, and desirability of our products and initiatives
• Where it gets really exciting is where you get to have first-hand insights by managing and conducting user research to help solve real problems in an industry that
• You will be a part of contributing to how we work and grow Matrak's design team by helping establish processes, creating design documentation, participating in peer design reviews, and sharing your smarts

You are able to teach and learn at the same time, how good is that!?

To make sure we have a fair recruitment process, we do have ideas of what our perfect person for the role looks like, fingers crossed for the both of us that you have the below down pat!

• Minimum 3-4 years of hands on working on various design/ UX projects across different disciplines and industries where you have had autonomy, taken initiative, and made decisions
• Fluency in design tools including Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro/Mural, and Adobe Photoshop
• Proven ability to design customer-facing user interface tailored to various platforms and viewports
• Fundamental knowledge or willingness to improve quantitative and qualitative customer research skill
• Knowledge and experience of design language systems and component libraries
• Experience providing design direction / mentorship to junior designers and internal stakeholders

And then some of the nice things that are really valuable such as an appreciation for CX and Service Design, experience in working at a start-up environment and with SaaS.
