What you'll be doing
We have an exciting position that will help with Catch’s continued growth, based in our Bentleigh East office. The Inventory Analyst will be focused on replenishing and forecasting merchandise to optimise availability and inventory holdings of distribution centres in line with critical path timelines.
Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for undertaking regular and proactive analysis of merchandise performance to maximise the department’s financial outcomes as well as ensuring supplier delivery performance is adequate to support department growth strategy.
- Produce, analyse and communicate supplier Fulfillment forecasts.
- Work with suppliers to optimise appropriate lead-times.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
- Liaise with dedicated warehouse resource to finalize variances, assist in receiving and close of Pos
- Manage range additions and deletions.
- Optimise local and overseas deliveries by reviewing and refreshing Supplier Review days and Lead-times.
- Review and maintain the integrity of all Replenishment settings and parameters.
- Actively work to reduce and eliminate aged inventory.
- Order and track stock to ensure appropriate level are in the warehouse to ensure sales and in stock rates and stock level KPIs are achieved.
- Review and approve weekly Fulfillment orders.
- Track orders through the Supply Chain timelines and flag orders that have missed key milestones i.e. not consigned, late to DC, not fully dispatched.
- Provide recommendations and implement action plans to maximise the department’s financial outcomes
Requirements
- Retail e-commerce experience is an advantage
- Understanding of inventory management within a retail environment
- Confident with Microsoft Excel
- Sound knowledge of demand, fulfilment and inventory systems
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to proactively taking ownership of your portfolio
