Job Description

We are a thriving, mid-size law firm based 2 minutes away from North Sydney station. We are looking for a receptionist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys administrative tasks.


You will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, distributing amp; sending mail
  • Answering amp; fielding calls
  • Client greeting amp; care
  • Opening files amp; matters, scanning amp; copying documents
  • Maintenance of safe custody
  • Kitchen amp; general office maintenance
  • Arranging couriers
  • Diary management amp; arranging appointments
  • Planning staff birthdays amp; Christmas office party
  • Other administrative tasks as needed to support the legal staff

Requirements

As the first point of contact for our firm with clients, we require the following for this role:

Must have:

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to multi-task in busy office environment
  • Good communication skills with friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail amp; ability to proactively manage changing priorities
  • Skill with Microsoft Word, Outlook amp; good understanding of working with computers.

Desired but not required:

  • Experience as receptionist or other admin role
