We are a thriving, mid-size law firm based 2 minutes away from North Sydney station. We are looking for a receptionist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys administrative tasks.
You will be responsible for:
- Collecting, distributing amp; sending mail
- Answering amp; fielding calls
- Client greeting amp; care
- Opening files amp; matters, scanning amp; copying documents
- Maintenance of safe custody
- Kitchen amp; general office maintenance
- Arranging couriers
- Diary management amp; arranging appointments
- Planning staff birthdays amp; Christmas office party
- Other administrative tasks as needed to support the legal staff
Requirements
As the first point of contact for our firm with clients, we require the following for this role:
Must have:
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to multi-task in busy office environment
- Good communication skills with friendly and confident telephone manner
- Professional presentation
- Ability to work effectively in team environment
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail amp; ability to proactively manage changing priorities
- Skill with Microsoft Word, Outlook amp; good understanding of working with computers.
Desired but not required:
- Experience as receptionist or other admin role
