Requirements
About the role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for end to end purchasing, inventory planning, warehousing, freight, and logistics. You will identify efficiencies and manage risk related to inventory, vendor and supplier relationships. This is a highly visible role and your ability to engage with stakeholders, manage people and negotiate will ensure your success.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee, forecast and manage sales demand based on market analysis, product launches and promotions and develop purchase and inventory plans
- Engage with all stakeholders to align product supply with sales activity
- Negotiate and coordinate with our overseas parent company to optimise inventory efficiencies including managing the cost and lead times associated with imports
- Lead the supply chain team to achieve best practice standards and optimal customer service
- Manage our Warehouse and Freight suppliers to achieve ongoing cost and operational efficiencies
Who are we looking for?
- Strong Leadership experience with stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Proven experience managing supply chains, logistics and 3rd party relationships
- Experience using SAP, Excel and Access desirable
