We are looking for a Lead Creative Producer for Advertising to help us develop scroll-stopping ads and creative.

This is an incredible opportunity to flex your creative muscle by working with a team of marketers and video producers to make effective ads on Facebook and Youtube that are seen by millions around the world.

You will have access to videographers, video editors and copywriters to create new ads and campaigns on a weekly basis.

You will work closely with Product Marketing Managers, who will brief you with what’s required, including ideas for ads and angles that you will produce into ads. You will also work closely with Media Buyers, who will provide feedback on things that work and what doesn’t.

You can script amp; produce original videos from scratch, or re-use existing videos to create new ad variations.

This role would suit a video producer with experience in advertising, and/or agency work or creating viral and highly engaged videos.

This role includes working with our Foundr instructors and getting to hang out with exciting and innovative entrepreneurs on a regular basis.

About You:

  • Experience creating engaging videos that get views
  • You understand how to create attention-grabbing videos that resonate with people and you have experience creating videos with millions of views (organic or paid).
  • Naturally organised and an excellent producer. You run a tight ship and everyone on your project knows exactly what’s going on.
  • You understand the importance of ROI and ROAS, etc. You’ve created ads and ad campaigns in the past and understand digital marketing.
  • You understand video editing and how to work with, and get the best out of video editors (you can speak their language and know what’s involved).
  • Native Speaker / Fluent in English written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail including well developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • You have an excellent eye for hooks, angles and studying what’s trending.
  • Video editing skills are helpful but not required.


More About The Role:

  • The Lead Creative Producer for Advertising is a part of the marketing team at Foundr and you will report in to the Head of Paid Advertising
  • Based in the Melbourne office you will collaborate closely with lead marketers each week on what creative assets are required to create our Facebook and paid ads
  • You will be able to pick up our ads playbook and video production system on how we produce ads, over time you will want to innovate and improve upon this system
  • You will work closely with Product Owners to determine what ads and angles are required for each product and campaign before you brief your creative team
  • You will pre and post produce video ads by briefing video editors on what is required before passing it across to the paid ads team to run live
  • You will also work with copywriters to ensure that they hit the brief for the ad and write the copy to go with the creative
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, advertising and what drives attention and engagement.
  • Each month you will schedule a new ads shoot with our key instructors where you’ll collaborate closely with our video team.
  • You will either script up exciting ads for these shoots, or work with a copywriter to ensure that the team has a script for the ads shoot
  • You’ll then work closely with the team in post-production to make sure the footage is handled correctly and sent across to the editors
  • This is a hands on role that suits an organised producer with skills in scheduling and post production

Requirements

  • Based in Melbourne or able to work from the Melbourne HQ (NB: We aren't able to relocate people for this role)
  • At least 5+ years in some sort of video producer role or equivalent
  • Experience as a producer working with video
  • Know how to create incredible videos that garner attention and resonate with people
  • Broadly understand digital marketing and it's key concepts
  • Love learning and up-skilling
  • Exceptional drive and commitment striving for excellence.
  • High level of adaptability to a frequently changing professional and social working environment
  • Skilled in project man
