Category Manager - Accessories

Job Description
As an experienced Category Manager, you will be the driving force behind the Accessories Category. You will have a results driven mindset and a visionary with the ability to grow market share with our business goals and objectives. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders and influence the direction of the Accessories Category, all whilst remaining customer centric in your day to day operations.
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience within a Fashion Accessories environment and the ability to transform ideas into strategies. You will be highly analytical, confident negotiating and able to grow the Accessories Category.
- Develop and manage vendor strategy and partnership ensuring end to end lowest cost
- Set, review and monitor sell prices and promotions. Ensuring we are offering best value in the market to customers
- Consistently build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Deliver day to day analytical support and recommendations in order to develop key strategies to drive sales
- Translate critical consumer insights and analysing consumer data
- Maximise all product sourcing and development opportunities
- Leverage insights from relevant sources to continuously build and evolve the category understanding and ability to partner with customer base
- Lead and mentor your team of Buyers and Sales Coordinator
Requirements
- Exceptional commercial acumen using numbers to guide and influence your decision making process
- Demonstrated category management experience managing multiple brands and suppliers both large and independents.
- Proven leadership skills
- Refined influencing and negotiation skills
- Creative and innovative approach to deliver newness into ranges with a proven history of growing and facilitating change in a category
- Proven experience working with a high level of SKUs
- Enjoys working in a fast paced team environment and able to meet deadlines
- The ability to adapt in a fast paced online environment
- Data driven
