_nology can provide people a number of different opportunities and career paths, depending on what excites you. We have a global footprint, working with some of the world’s most recognisable businesses from Corporates like Deutsche Bank, Woolies and Foxtel; to exciting start-ups like Airtasker and FlareHR.
How is the program structured?
You will start your pathway into a new career by undergoing 12 weeks of intensive training in web development through _nology. (Due to Covid, all training will be delivered remotely, meaning you can be based anywhere in Australia).
We will fund this training, and provide you the opportunity to be taught daily by our Coaches, as well as mentored by inspiring industry leaders to start growing your network as early as possible.
Our training is designed to make you a great tech employee- giving you plenty of soft-skills and professional skills development, as well as highly-sought after technical skills.
Throughout the training, you’ll get to work on real-life external client projects, meaning you’ll have genuine commercial experience before the course is even complete.
Once you have successfully completed the 12-week training program, we will place you on site with one of our industry hiring partners, and continue to support you to making the most of your new career.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Great communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn independently as well as in a group environment
- Passion to understand how technology influences our lives, and how to make it better
- 1+ years full time work experience (in any job or industry- no tech exp. req.)
- Eligible to work in Australia (citizen / permanent resident)

What does a day in the life of a junior developer look like?
- Provide support to senior developers to build and test websites
- Understand business and team objectives, and complete tasks relating to those goals
- Write testable, well documented code
- Work with web designers to make their designs a functional reality
- Participate in daily stand-ups to understand requirements and plan daily tasks
