The Position
What is a Support Worker I hear you ask? As a Support Worker you will provide assistance to people with a disability enabling them to achieve their goals, increase their independence and participate in community life.
You could be supporting someone to make a meal, assisting them going for a walk in the park, going to the movies, whatever the supported person’s goal is you’re there to help them live a fabulous life. No two days are the same and this is certainly not a 9 5 job either!

Our Ideal Candidate:
A Support Worker is someone who can think outside the box, has an open mind, is adaptable, flexible, empathetic, mature and has the capacity to deal with unexpected or challenging situations

You will also bring with you:
- Current Driver’s License
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate with CPR
- International Police Check if applicable
- Melba Support Services complies with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check).
