Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Container Repairer to join our team to work out of our West Melbourne. We are looking for an energetic individual who will join our team.
ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.
ACFS sites are strategically positioned with close proximity to all major ports. These locations ensure that our operations have dynamic and efficient access to wharf terminals.
This person will be responsible for:
- Repairs of Shipping Container
- Application of fillers and sealants as required
- Sanding, buffing and painting of shipping containers
- Fabrication of components for modification of shipping containers
- Other work as directed
To be successful in this role you will:
Ability to be competent with various tools including sander, spray gun and general maintenance work
- Welding experience would be an advantage
- Work in a team environment
- Previous experience in handling shipping containers or boilermaker work preferred
