About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for performing and signing off Lyka's financial and regulatory accounting requirements (including payroll and BAS) and performing critical budgeting, forecasting, and demand planning activity plus other relevant financial analysis to enable sustainable growth for the company.
You will also manage the upcoming ERP implementation, utilising your functional expertise to manage implementation requirements and liaising with external ERP consultants to ensure the successful implementation of the future ERP.
You will be a true business partner, working closely with other business stakeholders across operations to oversee both financial and operational issues.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and perform all bookkeeping functions for Lyka, including payroll, BAS, month-end close, and year-end close
- Perform periodic and relevant ad-hoc financial analysis to inform key business decision-making for stakeholders across the business
- Partnering with business stakeholders to complete financial and accounting expertise across the business
- Perform budgeting, forecasting and planning activity, including demand planning to inform daily production activity
- Manage Financial KPIs and support the Operations team to improve financial performance continuously
- Utilising Finance and ERP functional expertise to inform ERP design during the upcoming ERP implementation
Requirements
CA/CPA qualifiedAt least 3+ years broad experience in financial and regulatory accounting, including AP and PayrollExperience in management accounting - including financial analysis, planning and forecasting, or a strong desire/willingness to learnProficiency in Excel (financial modelling and forecasting)Experience using ERP systems, and ideally, ERP management or implementation experienceStrong problem-solving ability, including being comfortable with uncertainty, and the ability to define solutions and procedures in the face of changeBenefits
