About the Role
As Senior Cloud Consultant, you are primarily responsible for delivering projects and will be called upon to consult, design, develop and deliver engagements relating to Microsoft Azure and/ or Amazon AWS (be they IaaS, PaaS or other). You will also be required to participate in the sales cycle for their chosen stream as applicable in the capacity of an SME.
As Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be required to adhere to Datacom’s public cloud design and architecture methodology. You must be capable of working with minimal supervision and building relationships with peers and management. As a Senior Consultant, there are additional technical leadership expectations.
What you’ll do
As Senior Cloud Consultant your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Consulting the provision of technical knowledge in relation to solutions to resolve business issues
- Design the provision of technical documentation outlining solutions to client needs
- Implementation/ migration the delivery of solutions on the cloud platform.
- Developing strong internal and external relationships, displaying technical excellence during all facets of each engagement.
What you’ll bring
As a client facing Senior Cloud Consultant, you will have a minimum of 10 years IT industry experience, coupled with 3 years Consulting and 7 years Cloud Project Delivery. You will have proven technical delivery in large enterprise and mission critical environments. Exceptional business awareness (corporate structure, ROI, TCO, budget and planning strategy etc.) is a must, as is strong personal time management and priority setting skills. You will thrive on design, implementation, and delivery capability in enterprise technologies with a specialisation towards public cloud. You will also bring excellent knowledge of enterprise solutions on public cloud platforms.
