Job Description

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced Pallet Controller to join our Team. This role will be primarily based at Eastern Creek, with the occasional visit to Port Botany.

Reporting to the National Pallet Control Manager, this role will be responsible for providing oversight and co-ordination of all elements of pallet control within the transport and logistic functions.

ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.

ACFS sites are strategically positioned with close proximity to all major ports. These locations ensure that our operations have dynamic and efficient access to wharf terminals. We have dedicated sites in development for Western Sydney and Melbourne and a committed Go West strategy that will allow us to expand our operations. These sites will provide additional service benefits for our clientele across the geographic metropolitan areas.


  • Pallet Reconciliation with clients / carriers / on forwarders and pooled hire equipment providers
  • Ensure pallet transfers, pallet hire cost and recoveries are managed and processed in accordance with pallet supplier and customer contract terms amp; conditions.
  • Optimise pallet control accuracy and traceability
  • Ensuring all pallets are reconciled daily, weekly, monthly
  • Ensuring accuracy of physical and system reconciliation processes
  • Management of pallets through assigned system(s)
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements for pallet control
  • Oversee and ensure site and operations comply with the pallet policy and procedures
  • Provide additional support to the Administrative team when necessary

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in pallet control
  • Transport and Logistics experience
  • Knowledge of 2IC software would be advantageous
  • Strong communication (written and verbal)
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills
