We are now looking for a passionate and driven Head of Quality amp; Sustainability to lead the Australian team. The successful candidate will provide support to the team at our fulfillment centers across Australia (traveling required), playing a major role in the continued growth of our brands. This role reports to the Australian CEO and works very closely with the leadership and C-level team, engaging internal and external stakeholders; and supporting the execution of departmental strategy.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the quality amp; sustainability activities and compliance with respective regulations across the business (office and fulfillment centers)
- Drive the Quality amp; Sustainability vision, strategy, and policies
- Find trends in data and provide analysis and information on where there are trends and provide recommendations on how to improve processes.
- Communicate trends and influence decisions when dealing with stakeholders
- Overall responsibility for customer safety and improve overall customer experience
- Ensure conformance to Marley Spoon standards on the following pillars: Quality Excellence, Food Safety, and Sustainability
- Continuously develop gap analysis aligned to internationally recognized standards (ISO, GFSI)
- Continuously conduct and monitor internal and external audits across all pillars (Food Safety, Quality, and Sustainability)
Requirements
- 5 years or more experience in leading Quality and Sustainability and/or preferred in Safety teams
- Bachelor's degree in a related field to food technology and quality assurance and/or sustainability field is a plus
- Experience in google suite apps
- Drive and own your projects; continuously analyze and communicate the progress on your KPIs, while working on data-driven solutions;
- Good knowledge of excel is desired
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data
- Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems;
- Ability to make good and accurate decisions within a short time frame
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Ability to step up and address difficult issues and find solutions
- Ability to maneuver comfortably through policy processes and people related dynamics;
- Strong data analytic skills to identify trends and areas of improvement
- High level of integrity and accountability;
