About the role

This role is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the Guest Experience of on-train Journeys operated through the Journey Beyond Rail Division. This is a proactive management of on-train guest experience role that is responsible for the effective management of on-train workflows and associated budgets. As a key leader, you will assist in the

development of business plans for the improvement our train services and effectively implement update changes to ensure the ongoing highest quality of service delivery to our guests.

As a manager on board you will oversee all aspects of on train crew service delivery throughout a journey, including financials, crew performance, waste management and guest experience. This role is pivotal to lead, mentor and support on train crew and conducting regular performance conversations to continuously develop our on-train crew in all areas of their role.

About you

Hospitality and tourism is not a job to you, but an opportunity to share our special places and create lasting memories for each and every guest. This is demonstrated in your 5 years plus experience in a similar operational role in the hospitality/tourism industry. You are a hands on leader with the ability to solve problems, have high attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
