About the Role
Our Systems Engineers are responsible for building customers environments to agreed standards with a focus on Private VMWare and Public Cloud. This role also supports our products that require Infrastructure as Code Deployment capability. There is the potential to learn and gain experience with DevOps, Microservice and RESTful API methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and take responsibility for the development of current and future Cloud infrastructure builds
- Identifying automation opportunities where possible
- Contribute to implementation delivery and system administration projects and tasks
- Identifying risks and issues and the ability to research technical and develop solutions.
- Collate customer and platform environment technical specifications and maintain up-to-date knowledge, documentation and configuration databases.
- Plan the implementation of new customer environments
About You
You will have experience working within a vendor/service provider environment and have a strong customer service approach. You could be based in Sydney/Newcastle/Melbourne/Geelong or Adelaide so if you believe you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role and are not Sydney based then we encourage you to apply.
You will also have:
- Understanding of network concepts and excellent diagnostic, network, routing and interconnectivity troubleshooting issues
- Experience with Windows Server 2012+ and Remote Support and Remote Administration
- Experience with Exchange 2016+
- Complex AD Domain administration
- Experience with Private VMware environments Public (Azure) Cloud and experience with Citrix virtual apps and desktop, Netscaler and Storefront
- Ability to write technical documentation
