Nura is a young, venture-backed company that has rapidly scaled globally over the last two years with the unique NuraNow subscription offering and award winning products to employ just under 50 people across Australia, the United States, China and New Zealand.

Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, as People amp; Culture Manager responsible for supporting Nura’s employees in their day-to-day working lives. Within this team, the People amp; Culture Manager is responsible for the experience of Nura team members throughout hiring, onboarding, working for, and leaving Nura.

This includes

  • Owning and improving the employee experience through improving processes and systems we have for supporting Nura employees through the entirety of their employment lifecycle, including recruitment, professional development, and performance management
  • Acting as a trusted people and culture business partner for leaders and a trusted point of contact for all Nura employees
  • Helping Nura’s employees and leaders to nurture the relationships we have with one another and our work
  • Acting as a leader in encapsulating, instilling and nurturing our company culture, leading by example

People and Organisational Development and our leaders of the future

  • Help our leaders build a culture of performance and growth, to develop and deliver great professional development and performance improvement plans for their teams
  • Oversee our hiring and talent management process
  • Coordinate our feedback, performance, and salary review processes

Make Nura a great place to work

  • Design and lead initiatives to maximise the engagement of all employees, including managing employee engagement surveys and increasing social connections amongst the team i.e. social events
  • Work closely with Nura’s Marketing team to deliver impactful employer branding strategies
  • Create and champion initiatives that support an empowered, supportive and growth mindset culture that aligns closely to company values
  • Be a trusted, approachable point of contact for employees on people-related issues
  • Help our people to learn and develop the skills they need to work at Nura and beyond
  • Help us to find the best ways to reward, recognise, and incentivise Nura employees

Be a trusted business partner for HR Compliance and Policies

  • Manage all aspects of our HR Policies and Employee relations with the support of our HR advisor, creating new fit-for-purpose policies and managing the data integrity of all employee records
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures are embedded in day-to-day interactions and compliant with all legal requirements, regulations and guidelines
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including those relation to information security.

About you

  • Degree qualification in a relevant field
  • 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Understand of tech startup, high growth environment
  • Strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills
  • Experience in interpretation of Awards, Legislation and policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including having critical conversations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Action oriented will make it happen
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
