Northern Star has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for Fixed Plant Fitters to join the Processing Department at our world-class KCGM Operation. This is a permanent, full-time residential opportunity based in the Goldfields.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the position performs preventative, planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance for the KCGM Fimiston and Gidji Gold processing circuits, ensuring optimum operating conditions are achieved, with ongoing efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Australian Nationally Accredited Trades Certificate in Mechanical Fitting and/or Fitter Machining.
- Minimum of two (2) years mechanical maintenance experience, mine site-based preferred.
- High Risk Work Licences, such as LF, WP, DG, RA - preferred.
- Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications preferred.
- Demonstrated intermediate level of computer literacy, with experience on Maintenance Management Systems.
- High commitment to safety is essential.
- Must reside locally within the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate for this residential role.
- National Police Clearance valid within the last twelve (12) months.
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
