We are now looking for a passionate and driven Content and Social Media Manager to join our growing Marketing Team. The successful candidate will provide support to the team at our head office in Alexandria, playing a major role in the continued growth of our brands. This role reports to our Head of Content and works very closely with our brand marketing teams, managing content and social media with a heavy skew towards copywriting; engaging influencers and partners; and supporting the execution of content strategy.


Responsibilities
  • Driving the creation of strategic content aligned with our topline content strategy
  • Driving audience engagement on our social media platforms through relevant content production, delivery and analysis; and managing and inspiring digital communities to talk about our brands
  • Working closely with our in-house Creative, Video and Brand Design teams, crafting clear briefs for the production of compelling content and executing those briefs with expert stakeholder management
  • Assisting on photo and video shoots where needed
  • Being responsible for managing the reputation of our brands through review websites
  • Being responsible for deploying content across all social media platforms
  • Moderating audience comments and questions on our brands’ social media channels (our Customer Comms team handles any ordering and purchase-specific comments, complaints and enquiries)
  • Building our customer advocacy program, driving the sharing of authentic, cost-effective content for re-purposing across varied channels
  • Managing the content asset bank, including proactively working cross-functionally to identify and solve gaps in content needs
  • Collaborating with our Customer Comms team for supporting mass communication with our active customer base, and sharing any patterns/concerns brought up by our customers via review sites and social media channels
  • Collaborating with our CRM team on copywriting, content creation and final approvals for all emails and CRM communications across various phases of the customer journey
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting on social media and content performance and metrics, including using Google Analytics and social media analysis tools
  • Join amp; contribute to conversations in existing online forums relevant to our brands, acting as a driving force for the growth of our brands and category and collaborating with relevant influencers, businesses and social media accounts

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
  • Marketing professional with minimum 3 years experience in marketing teams/environments, whether agency or in-house
  • Proven experience in social media roles and a true love for social media channels and digital trends, with an eye for what works and best practices on these channels
  • Copywriting experience with a knack for applying varied brand tones of voice gained through previous marketing roles either through in-house or agency positions
  • Track record of social media management to optimise a brand's engagement or growth KPIs, including comprehensive knowledge of FB Ads Manager and scheduling tools
  • Experience writing for customer engagement across CRM, SMS, Newsletters, and other 1:1 comms channels preferred
  • Experience bringing strategic content to life designed for multiple digital and print channels and formats
  • Experience working with creative teams, with the ability to manage content production and provide constructive feedback for optimising creative assets
  • Confidence with Google Analytics and G-suite products
  • Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborator who works well across teams and functions, with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
