The performance of our arthroplasty components and global adoption of our Australian designed and manufactured technologies, along with some recent key local and international acquisitions is delivering rapid growth and opportunity.

Our Corin Australia Operations Team are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Business Intelligence amp; Planning Analyst on a 12 month maternity leave cover contract. This full-time, ongoing position will be based out of our Sydney office located in Pymble.

Reporting into the Director, Supply Chain, you will work closely with a broad range of business functions to ultimately transform transactional data into meaningful business insights. You will also manage the business sales and operations planning process by creating, evaluating, and optimizing data sets to deliver an accurate demand plan; aimed at improving the accuracy and reliability of product supply.

Key responsibilities of the Business Intelligence amp; Planning Analyst include:

Sales amp; Operations Planning

  • Provide weekly visibility, analyses and insights to the business teams
  • Translate sales forecasts into inputs to our Demand Planning System
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriateness and integrity of forecasting tools and files/ data sources
  • Support Sales, Operations and Finance teams as needed (e.g. Budget/ Forecast, adhoc analysis)
  • Look for simplification and efficiencies in the processes, whilst improving the quality of outputs to stakeholders

Business Intelligence

  • Work closely with other AU or UK teams to develop the PowerBI platform to include key business metrics and reports
  • Develop interactive dashboards with information at an appropriate level of detail to ensure meaningfulness of information for the end-users
  • Systemise single-use analyses where appropriate
  • Establish and implement appropriate reporting methods and cadence for the business
  • Audit and cleanse data to ensure data integrity
  • Train end users on how to use PowerBI and access and interpret data
  • Collaborate across the entire business to share knowledge and implement solutions

Internal and external communications

  • Become a key point of contact for staff across Corin Group and Optimized Ortho with respect to driving changes and improving systems, processes and data driven insights

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or educational equivalent combined with a minimum of 2 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You will possess prior experience in manipulation of large data sets and turning data into actionable insights and have strong data analytics capability. Strong knowledge of PowerBI, Excel tabular modelling amp; power query is essential.
