Job Description
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to join our Technology and Innovation Team Based at Port Botany.
ACFS Port Logistics are currently undertaking a large digital transformation. Reporting to the General Manager Strategy and Developments, this role will be responsible for managing the development and rollout of our Customer Portal, Process Automation and System Integration projects.
ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand the business requirements for interpretation of data and be able to clearly articulate into to a scope of works
- Work closely with our customers and vendors to ensure that projects run smoothly and are managed to a high standard
- Manage internal resources for effective and efficient implementation of projects
- Ensure that all Projects are delivered on-time within scope and budgeted hours
- Negotiate and report on deliverables and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the relationship with the customers and all stakeholders in a professional manner
- Experience in managing projects up to $1M.
- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level
- Liaise with the customers and vendor to create project plan and delivery timelines
- Liaise with the vendor to undertake system development/ enhancement activities
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures. Scrum Master Certification is ideal.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Project Management of Salesforce projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to successfully deliver outcomes
- Strong team player and the ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problem
Salesforce experience is essential
Logistics experience is desirable
