Cruise Whitsundays is an award winning, innovative, and experienced maritime operator, based in Airlie Beach. Our experiences include day and overnight tours throughout the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as resort connection services. We are proud to offer Australia’s first underwater accommodation, Reefsuites, on The Great Barrier Reef and exclusive Reefsleep experience at Reefworld on Hardy Reef.

What will you be doing?
Your primary job is ensure each and every guest has an experience of a lifetime. Together you will share special places and create lasting memories. Your days might include:
- Greeting and assisting guests ensuring the guests experience and safety is priority;
- Preparation of the vessel for transportation including safe securing and departure of vessels;
- Performing constant deck rounds, drills, control mooring lines and ensuring safety compliance at all times;
- Exceptional food and beverage delivery;
- Conducting safety briefings and presentations to the guests; and
- Vessel housekeeping and cleanliness.
These positions are physically demanding and will require you to work on your feet for long periods of time. You will have the unique opportunity to work across our products from Camira Sailing, Great Barrier Reef Adventure, Whitehaven Beach to Resort Connections!

- Be passionate about the hospitality industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service
- Know your stuff, be an all-rounder with deckhand and hospitality experience particularly passionate about guests experiences you see everything thru a guest centric lens
- Have an energy that’s dynamic and you have fun when you work your smile will say it all
- Show a commitment to our luxury brand
- Have all the safety things we need too like an ESS/GPH (minimum), RSA, Covid Safe Dining In and a Senior first aid certificate (or willing to obtain). Coxswains, Master and/or MED qualifications are highly regarded.
